When I joined a three-month fitness training program, our trainer provided us with a meal plan that included a detox drink first. This drink should be consumed one hour before breakfast. It’s very easy to make.
To make this detox drink, you will need:
- Raw bottle gourd
- Water
- Lemon for taste (optional)
Here’s how to prepare the drink with raw bottle gourd:
- Peel the raw bottle gourd and remove the seeds.
- Blend it with water and strain the mixture before drinking.
Make sure the bottle gourd is not bitter, as bitter juice should not be consumed. It must be fresh.
If bottle gourd is not available, you can use celery or cucumber to make this detox drink in the same way.
What this detox drink does: It goes into your empty stomach and removes all the dirt, toxins, and waste from your system through the toilet.
For the first six weeks, I had to drink the detox drink every day. Now, it’s recommended to drink it 2-3 times a week for life. Always consume the detox drink one hour before breakfast.
