From my lifestyle, I have understood one thing well. People are afraid to diet because they think dieting means having to starve and not being able to eat to their heart’s content. They believe they won’t be able to eat their favorite foods anymore. I used to think the same. But that’s not the case for me at all. Dieting doesn’t mean starving, nor does it mean completely giving up your favorite foods.
Why can’t you? Of course, you can eat to your heart’s content. The only difference is that you used to eat unhealthy food to your heart’s content before, now you’ll eat healthy food to your heart’s content. You can enjoy your favorite foods even if not daily, at least once a week.
Cheat Days and Cravings
There will be a day each week when all our favorite foods will occupy the table. This is very exciting and fun for me, it’s our cheat day.
Still, if you crave something before the cheat day arrives, don’t worry:
Will you not eat it? Of course, you will.
Will you feel guilty after eating?
You won’t feel guilty at all. Enjoy your food, chew it well, and savor the taste. This will help with digestion and prevent overeating.
Balancing Exercise
During your exercise routine, make sure to burn off those extra calories. If you usually exercise for 30 minutes, on that day, you can exercise for an additional 10-15 minutes. Simple. You get to eat your favorite food, and the calories won’t turn into fat. You stay safe.
Simplifying Your Lifestyle
We often make our lifestyle very hard, so it feels hard. And we don’t even start because we think it’s hard. The more difficult we make life, the harder it will feel. The simpler we make life, the simpler it will feel, and it will become easier. Life should be simple and definitely interesting. Only then will you be able to enjoy it. For this, our physical and mental well-being is necessary, and for this, a healthy lifestyle is essential.
You need to love yourself. You need to keep yourself well and also keep your loved ones well.
Enjoy your healthy lifestyle!
