Our brain always seeks comfort and a comfort zone. Should we keep it comfortable, or push it out of its comfort zone? That totally depends on our willpower.
For example, I decided to wake up early and exercise. When you try to wake up early, your brain will present many excuses, such as: “I’ll start tomorrow, I slept late last night, let me sleep a bit more today, I’ll sleep early and wake up early tomorrow, I don’t feel well today, I’ll start from tomorrow.” If you listen to these excuses, your “tomorrow” will never come. Every day, tomorrow will come with new excuses, preventing you from stepping out of your comfort zone.
But among all the reasons and excuses not to wake up, if you have just one reason to wake up, that will be enough. Your brain will create confusion: should I wake up or not? Its job is to confuse you, and your job is to make a choice between the two options.
1. Will you wake up to make a beautiful start to your day? There are countless blessings from the Creator at the start of the day. If the start of your day is beautiful, then your whole day will go well. Every morning brings something new for us, a new opportunity, a new idea, a chance to see something new, to hear something new, to do something new, to think something new, and to start a new life.
Just think, if you stay asleep, you will miss out on all these opportunities.
2. Or will you waste it by sleeping? If the start of your day isn’t good, even though you have many things to do and many dreams to fulfill, you won’t be able to do them if you can’t wake up. That time gets wasted, and when you do wake up, you have very little time left. Even if you want to, you might not get the chance or the time to do those tasks. You fall behind on your goals each day. Gradually, you will lose energy and productivity. At some point, it will feel like you want to do a lot of things, but you don’t have the time or the motivation to do them. This can lead to depression.
So please wake up. Life is short and needs to be made beautiful and meaningful.
It depends on you. Will you listen to your brain, or will your brain listen to you?
If you can convince your brain and push it for a few days, fight with it, and wake up every day for 21 days, exercise, and meditate, you will see that after a while, waking up will become easier. Your brain will stop giving you excuses, questions, or confusion and will help you wake up without feeling it’s difficult. A good habit will be formed.
I used waking up early as an example, but you can form any good habit in the same way. Let’s start our journey of creating good habits from the beginning of the day.
You need strong willpower for that. Otherwise, you won’t be able to form good habits, and good habits make the path to success easier.
Increase productivity in life. Create a routine for yourself.
Here is my routine:
1. Go to bed at a fixed time.
I go to bed by 10 PM. I try to stay away from all electronic devices an hour before sleep to ensure I sleep without disturbance and can get 7-8 hours of sleep, waking up full of energy.
2. Wake up at a fixed time.
I wake up at 5 AM. Because I get enough sleep, I can wake up and make my bed, which makes me feel fresh and confirms that I am up. Then I complete my prayers. It’s essential to have a routine and information about our goals and life journey to ensure we don’t fall behind even for a day. So I listen to information that helps me start my day beautifully.
3. Exercise.
Exercising in the morning is very important because it makes you feel energetic and increases productivity. Laziness goes away, and focus on work increases.
4. Meditation.
I try to meditate daily. Meditation keeps my brain peaceful, helps me focus on all tasks, and keeps me fresh all day. It helps me stay positive.
5. Reading books.
I love to read books in my free time. Reading increases our knowledge, and I learn something new every day. It’s a very enjoyable activity for me to learn something new every day.
6. Writing.
I like to write down everything I learn and do daily. I write down my experiences and everything new I learn from reading books in my diary. When I share my problems with my diary, I often find solutions. Writing helps lighten my mind when I feel down, and sharing good feelings doubles the happiness. Writing has many benefits, which is why I love it so much.
7. To-do list.
Before going to bed, write down three important tasks for the next day. This way, you won’t forget your important tasks, and they will be implanted in your mind. When you complete these important tasks early in the day, you will feel happy and save time, giving you more time to do things you enjoy. It will make you feel light and tension-free, knowing you have completed your important tasks for the day, allowing you to sleep peacefully.
Remember, every great journey starts with a single step. Embrace each morning as a fresh opportunity to shape your destiny and transform your dreams into reality.
